SPRAY PAINT SPACE GALLERY

Inspired by space spray paint landscape street artists, I taught myself various techniques by watching YouTube videos of these artists. I then experimented with these techniques in different media, creating pieces using high-gloss paper and acrylic sheets with natural backlighting.

Moments of hinted transparency allow natural or colored light to reveal the layered techniques. Shifts in color create an entirely different way of viewing the piece and emit an ethereal quality in any space.

Over the years, I've revisited this medium and explored themes of reflection, sensuality, introspection, and transcendence inherent in the creation process of layers, color, and contrast.
