RAA - MUSEUM DESIGN
RALPH APPELBAUM ASSSOCIATES
Shaping Museum Experiences through 3D Expertise
At Ralph Appelbaum Associates (RAA) in the vibrant heart of New York City, I had the privilege to serve as the Lead Visualization Renderer for significant museum renovation project, where I focused on bringing conceptual studies to life. Through carefully crafted, photorealistic imagery, we aimed to convey the proposed exhibition spaces convincingly, ensuring potential investors could fully grasp the vision.
My journey with RAA extended to Saudi Arabia, where I led as the 3D Design Lead for two museum projects. In close collaboration with the Creative Director and our talented 2D team, we embarked on a creative exploration. Our mission was to translate ideas into tangible concepts that would resonate with audiences. My role involved facilitating the exchange of ideas, ensuring the alignment of design elements with narrative content.
Additionally, I played a role in enhancing existing exhibitions within RAA's portfolio. My focus was on researching and proposing innovative 3D elements, contributing to the ongoing evolution of these exhibits.
In the spirit of sharing our progress, here are some snippet previews from the visualizations created for the projects I was involved in at various stages of the design process:
Museum design is a meticulous craft, and every space tells a story. At RAA, my goal was to be a part of the team that crafted these stories, enriching the museum experience for visitors.
